Do I have any #ParkChat friends who (1) live in CA and (2) were part of the DOGE federal work force reductions that might want to speak at an upcoming event with a large audience of decision makers? If so, reach out!

Signs of spring. Rain and puddles sure but also the skunk cabbage coming up quickly.

The fact the candidate everyone isn’t talking about is Conservative candidate, Andrew Lawton, is SHAMEFUL.

This piece of filth has DECADE of bigotry, sexism, homophobia, on record. Not one bad day.

Why isn’t Poilievre being asked to remove him, like when he ran for Ford a few years ago?

Leave out milk, bread, and honey and you'll have less housework to do: the brownie is a Scottish spirit that at night will tidy up the home a bit if given offerings. If ignored or offended, they become boggarts, so be kind. #FolkloreSunday

Please watch my statement on Trump's attempt to extort Canada.
The stakes are high but much higher in the United State as Donald Trump leaves the USA weaker economically and politically.
This is how the great American century ends - like a toxic sideshow.

A group of snowshoers (and a dog!) seen today on hike 9 of my #52hikechallenge - a 2.9k snowshoe. Another beautiful day to get outside!

Today is National Flag Day in Canada and I think I spent it in a fitting way - skating on an outdoor trail on top of Blue Mountain 🇨🇦 I haven’t been skating in 2 years so I had a big grin a lot of the time. And while this wasn’t hiking, I’m counting it as “hike” 8 of the #52hikechallenge.

Have you ever heard of a wind phone? It’s a phone without a dial tone installed on a nature trail. You use to connect with a deceased love one.

This wind phone is at the Ausable River Cut Conservation Area just outside of Port Franks, Ontario. I think it’s a beautiful idea.

Between shopping and sushi got in a short but beautiful 3.3k hike on the Grand Valley Trail. A crisp but sunny day for hike 6 of the #52hikechallenge. ☃️☀️

I love how hiking forces your mind to focus on the present. On this trail, step after sideways step down the hill. #hiking

Winter mist. Trondheim, Norway. Feb 2012.
I’m currently printing a lot, testing out new papers. This is one of my go-to photographs when I’m testing new print stuff. It’s difficult to get right. Tones and colors, shadows and sharpness, all hard to nail. Quite happy when it works!
