Piece by piece, she unravels you. You have felt little connection to your body for as long as you can remember, and your conception of yourself — your image — has long been defined by the clothes you wear. The role you were given. As your clothes, one by one, are carefully removed, falling on top of Muelsyse's in a pile, you feel yourself becoming someone else. Someone new.

You aren't the Doctor. You're just Achlys.

here's something a little different! while i couldn't read chapter 15, i kept myself occupied with this. chapter 15 fics will be in progress but they will take a while. much to think about.

post-lone trail, pre-chapter 15. draws on muelsyse's 'bloodline of combat' skin dialogue for the hand emotion telepathy.

this is set after my previous fic, blood/stream. it provides context for some things referenced here, and for docmumu's relationship, if you want to read more. it's not necessary unless you're interested, but it does make this fic more complete.
