This just dropped, Marchebranche, the French game that Thomas Munier wrote and that I illustrated won « best indy game 2024 » of the French RPG awards. It is a nice surprise, thanks to Dystopia for the great work they did on the book (especially Laure who did the layout) It was good teamwork. :3

When you make something for mass appeal first and formost you sacrifice the sort of story that can reach people like HI3's did.
You can't really focus on something that a certain group of people can understand because, again, mass appeal.
It even affects the sort of characters you can have.

1. It would appear that in recent reporting, the BBC is now using the phrase "biological male who identifies as a woman" when they mean to talk about a transgender woman.
This is an incredibly demeaning way to talk about transgender women in news pieces.

It is difficult to not have intrusive thoughts after a misgendering. It often feels like it is my fault for not passing well enough and I take the blame upon myself. Which I know I should not do, but knowing and feeling are not the same sadly.

Funny how space RPGs nearly always have artificial gravity while zero-g is one the specific elements of the setting.

I think that the trans community could save around 25% of all moody fictional villains with HRT.
Could be a higher percentage but a lot of them will just become fail girls who burn and crash.

What do you think of this? A players facing Space Station map and each location has a random table for the players to roll on to see who is in the module when they visit it.
The tables are on the player map and they are the ones in charge of rolling on it. #Mothership
