I'm still upset about the stealth privatisation of the NHS through the budget yesterday. With PPP (PFI 2.0) and "neighbourhood care centres".

They know they can't be too obvious. So they go private by using sub contractors and private finance initiatives racking public services with DEBT.

Oh this is actually a nice budget one they are cracking down on offshore gambling. Going up to 40%. Very nice though I do wonder what that will do to ad spend from those companies in the UK market. Shocking how much betting ad work supports creatives.
Though I consider this a win for people overall

More property and asset tax is good but its a TINY amount. The real scary part of the UK Budget is #NHS PFI 2.0 is back. The thing which wracked the NHS with debt rebranded as PPP model to deliver 250 new "Neighbourhood Health Centres"

Well that is a new fucking horror scape from hellsite which is now creeping on here, auto response llme b*ts engagement farming responses.
The one saving grace is having some fucking personality is now a fucking requirement so your account doesn't immediatly get flagged as spam.

Amazing post from Katie on the TTM mess. It was an instant no from me the moment I read that first cold mail and I was shocked at how many people had ➡️ ... In their profiles but I kept mum. Sure enough ballpit time. I just hope people didn't lose to much money 😕

I'm splitting my time atm to assign 20% to PlayStation engine work. The sigh of relief moving from low level Android/PC code to console.... its just so fucking nice. Why can't all development just be on dedicated hardware with nicely designed api/libs. 😭

Urgh another Meta shuffle going to shake up a wobbly but growing #xr market. TLDR: I agree with Boz long term but Meta refuses to be honest about timelines. Adoption is slow and most the audience is gaming and very young. Also building gaming first gives you all the things you need for not gaming
