Evie's breathing was becoming more intense as she stared at her. Now would be the time to strike. The enemies hand was on her hip. She no longer had her. Any other assassin would have ended the Templar right here. Right now.

A free fist slowly rose into the air as if ready to deliver a harsh punch to try and seal the deal only to slowly lower it with a groan of both frustration at the situation and at herself for starting to give in to such weak emotions that were unbecoming of someone of her status, and especially [+]
This could have ended so easily for both of them. The Assassin had every opportunity to kill her right away. But she chose to strike fear into her. The Templar had her right where she wanted her, but nothing was happening.

It would’ve been so easy, to try and wring out Evie’s neck right then and there, to finally be free of this constant pest and move on with the plans set forth by the Templars yet…she simply chose to keep them both in this predicament by trying to keep the hidden blade away from her own neck.

With each Blighter she took down, Evie watched closely at how Lucy was reacting to each other, and every man went down. No matter the size difference , the assassin knew how to take advantage of lack of physicality.
