Jealousy gets a bad rap, but it's actually just information! It is our nervous system's way of alerting us to perceived threats to something we value. 🩷 Sometimes it's pointing to genuine concerns that need addressing, sometimes it's a false alarm triggered by our own insecurities. (Pt 1)
The key is developing sensitivity to what the moment needs. Sometimes a heavy conversation needs gentle humour to ease tension. Other times, playful energy needs to pause so deeper feelings can surface. Trust your instincts and watch for cues about what would serve the person and moment best. 🤍
On the other hand, playfulness brings lightness and joy. It reminds us not to take ourselves too seriously and creates moments of shared laughter that strengthen your connection in difficult conversations . Timing matters, bringing playfulness to a serious moment can feel dismissive.
Seriousness shows respect for important conversations and creates space for vulnerability. When someone shares something difficult, matching their energy tells them you're truly listening. But staying serious all the time isn't the answer.
One of the most underrated interpersonal skills is knowing when to lean into seriousness and when to invite playfulness. Both have their place, and reading the moment can really help how you relate to others.
It's a very awesome position. One of my favourites. 🫠 Xx
What would call this position? 🥵 Play time with my divine friend Cece.
The realisation that you can be strong and soft simultaneously is genuinely liberating for most people to discover. ✨
I just really love my fluffy and feathery friends! 🥰
Yes! Fantastic input. I put a large stone or pot in mine to prevent drownings. 🤍👌
The mynas tend to be the dominant species around here too! I've also got a few magpies, rainbow lorikeets, corellas, honey eaters and ravens floating around too! 😍
Friendly reminder from your local animal nerd to put some water out tonight! (if you're in Melbourne)

It's looking to be 30 degrees and our local wildlife really appreciate it. 🤍
Fun fact: I literally live in these shoes and whenever I'm at the shop I go there and completely buy them out in size 9 so I can keep them in my life for as long as possible. 😂
