“account for 6% of the vehicles on CT roadways, they are responsible for 53% of ozone forming nitrogen oxides, 45% of particulate matter pollutants”

Charging Program for Medium and Heavy Duty Vehicles

The docket is in its final stages, one more round of comments to come. It will provide incentives to help install charging equipment for MHD vehicles.

"The standard incentive for a battery electric vehicle (BEV) was scheduled to be cut to $1000 (from $1500) on August 15th, but will now be reduced to $500 as of August 1."

DEEP Preempts CHEAPR Rebate Cut With Another Cut

Demand spike causes DEEP to conserve funds by lowering incentive levels. People are buying EVs in advance of the loss of the federal incentive.
