Second, it only really comes up in DDoS attacks. I think. So no, IP spoofing can’t make it look like you made suspicious posts

It has to do with communication between devices. Messages between a client and a server, or packets, contain a sender and destination address. And the server always tries to verify if the client did, in fact, send that packet in the first place. If the sender address doesn’t match the client’s,

Sometimes when I’m watching video essays about internet drama, someone is trying to make the excuse that their IP was spoofed, hence why it looks like they made iffy posts

First of all, that’s not how IP spoofing works.
