My mom was recently diagnosed with Alzheimer's, so I have three good years left, maybe? I want to see them more because of it, but yet it's hard on my own mental health to do so. It's very confusing.

I wish I could say that's unusual, but this interaction is pretty much par for the course. She's usually telling me that I look fat.

It's confusing that I still love them very much, despite the fact that I am ready to strangle them by the end of any time with them.

I saw my parents for the first time in a long while. My relationship with my parents, and particularly my mom, is complicated. Within 30 minutes, my dad spoiled me rotten and bought me a very nice purse and my mom told me that my husband has gotten fat and to get him Ozempic.

I have learned that someone going by the handle Barry Gratitude and/or KJ Walker on the Hannibal TV subreddit (and who knows where else) is claiming to own Hannibal props and is selling them, except I OWN THREE OF THE ITEMS he claims he has. Be aware of the scammer! #Hannibal

The fact that my employer made this training MANDATORY with zero trigger warning and told for the shock value makes me so mad. I cried for most of the TWO HOUR seminar and I'm sitting here crying in my office still.

I understand the need for this training but they can do it without it being traumatizing. I did this training before where it lasted 15 minutes and the video explained what we should do without the graphic examples.

And the training officer played a 911 call of a teacher during a school shooting where you're hearing kids getting shot.

They started that training with a video of a 12 year old (?) girl who survived a school shooting who came to a group of people getting a similar training and telling the people in the video to stand on toilet seats and be really quiet.

My employer required mandatory active shooter response training and I'm absolutely traumatized right now. I know that my child has been doing this since kindergarten and people wonder why an entire generation of kids have high anxiety!

Hugh attended the New York City Ballet 2025 Fall Fashion Gala last night in NYC! I feel like he was doing his best James Bond, but we did get one of his genuine smiles! I love waking up to new Hugh in the morning!
