In midst of the horrendous DC shooting the US press largely ignores a detail about the suspect who shot the 2 Nat Guards:an Afghan who came legally to the US in 2021 under a Biden-era policy after the US left Afghanistan but immigration authorities under Trump granted him permanent asylum this year.

Why do the press let Trump get away with his blatant lies? He said gasoline is at $2 per gallon. The national average for gas is nearly $3.10 per gallon, according to GasBuddy. Has truthful reporting on the simplest of issues just evaporated in the USA?

Trump’s latest claim won’t fool even MAGA. Walmart’s 2025 thanksgiving meal basket which is 25% lower than a deal in 2024 is not the same basket: fewer items, different (and non brand name) products. It’s just a grocery store promotion. He must think the US public are a bunch of gullible turkeys.
