As long as Beijing is willing to tolerate extremely rapid rises in debt, GDP growth doesn't tell us much about the health of the economy. What matters is the components of growth and how growth was achieved.

I’m a U.K. passport holder. Last time I entered the country I was asked by immigration why I was entering the U.K. I was bemused. Why would you ask? I said ‘tourism’ and he looked puzzled. Don’t tourists visit Scotland any more?

They are knee length with plenty of pockets but a lighter material than a lot of cargo shorts. I find them extremely comfortable and they dry quickly if you get caught in rain.

My CX flight to KL was rebooked very promptly. Via Singapore. Errrr. No thanks. Ended up rebooking the rebooking but flew 4 days later than originally scheduled. Then I couldn’t check in online because the system didn’t recognise my re-rebooked flight. Clearly needed some AI to help.
