Hey, pals:

What’s the book (fiction or non-) that you think of as your secret? Ie, nobody knows how astounding it is but you? Sure sign: you’ve bought multiple copies to give away. Two of mine: “The Mezzanine” by @nicholsonbaker.bsky.social and “Golden Gate” by Vikram Seth. What’s yours?

There’s nothing I love more than a book that uses the speculative to deepen its emotional hooks. I loved the way Michael did that in All Her Loved Ones, Encoded.
Cover reveal! My debut novel will be published on 9/10/24. I'm still gobsmacked by the generous quote from Willy Vlautin. Synopsis here: michaelkeefeauthor.wordpress.com/all-her-love...

Greensleeves is the best Christmas song because it doesn’t sound like a Christmas song, it sounds like Indiana Jones is sad.

@scalzi.com Starter Villain sounds very up my 11yo’s alley. I haven’t seen much about how kid appropriate it is. I’m not bothered by him reading some garden variety (or even highly creative) profanity, but is there anything in there you think should give me pause?
