It still needs a few layers of gloss before it's ready to start shopping around. For example, right now I'm rereading it and looking for places to add in lines of the in-world equivalent of spanish to Issagloria's dialogue.

So, the other day I finished the complete draft of a novel I've been writing. It took me five years and five months but I did it. It stars this lady, Penny Issagloria, and it's set in a world where money is magic, and debt is a curse.

Something I've come to appreciate about Bsky, is that if I hit refresh, I don't automatically get an entirely new pile of posts from nowhere. If nothing new has gone up, then I get the same pic that was there previously.

That's incredibly liberating.

Ha da quick commission yesterday to draw a gangly critter.

Stumbled on an old treasure map I was working on for Thing 12 Games. I really need to find the original working file...

Swordtember, Day 26: Candy. Today's prompt was supposed to be Harpy, but I already did a bird design with Owl, so someone who had asked for a. Candy sword got their wish.

A gummie, candy sword. The blade looks like a cocktail skewer, the handle is made of sugar-crusted gumdrops, and the scabbard is made from a licorice whip.

Yeah I could never tell if it was a nose or their head was just extremely malformed. I'm leaning towards the latter option myself.

Swordtember, Day 25: Bubble

A bubble wand shaped like a sword. The cross guard is made from bottles of Mr. Bub, and a long trail of bubbles are looping lazily around the blade.
