phantom: 20 attempts!!!! 🥳🥳🥳 (last judge was 32 attempts but severely underpowered compared to me now… not sure which i would have found easier at that point of the game!!! especially because i really relied on the harpoon for this fight hehe) also i have the lace parry skill now awesomeeeee
very fun one and on the easier side for me although that may have something to do with me being waaaaay overpowered by that point in the game vs when you’re “supposed” to be here… the design of a completely alternate route into the citadel is so interesting to me!!!!
mopping up a few loose bits and bobs before starting act 3 though starting with collecting all the fleas!! was brave enough to explore the mists 🫡🫡🫡 made it to the exhaust organ and freed the flea there then i got to fight PHANTOM!!! what an awesome fight!!!
“i’m going to take a break” i think i actually had enough of a break when i paused for like a week before beating GMS because winning that fight has just made me even more curious about act 3 and excited to get back into playing!!!
will give it a break for a little bit i think before diving back in because i am halfway to unlocking what i need to do to get into act 3… i don’t think i have a single chance of finishing it but i would like to see how far i can get for lore purposes. then watch someone else’s playthrough hehe
i am very very chuffed with myself, before release and then in the aftermath when there was so much discourse about this game being way harder than hollow knight i was so afraid i would not be skilled enough to finish silksong. and by finish i mean get ending 1 because that’s all i ever got for HK
proud to announce i have defeated lace 2 with 49 ATTEMPTS!!!!!! absolutely no shame in my final phase 1 health left just spam poisoned tools and keep a safe distance strat you do what you have to do okay!!!
like whyyyyyyy is this so much harder i have all these new movements skills and tools WHY IS THIS SO MUCH HARDER - me when i fought hornet 2 in hollow knight

shout out to tacks and silk storm (and shakra of course) for getting me through that couldn’t have done it without you !!! the thing about the cracked skull charm is that i didn’t even use it in this fight so it was fully a waste of a tool but if i had needed it it could have completely saved me so
then shakra came to help me in the high halls gauntlet and we MADE IT!!!! after like another 10 attempts hahahaha but thank god i could not have done it without her (i almost didn’t omg)
after a brief intermission i am BACK!!! completed shakra’s quest which was so moving such a beautiful scene - team cherry continuing to make me emotional over BUGS
