Been doing a lot of work trying to get the feel right for where I want to go with my v3 design. Originally, it was going to just start out as more tweaks from this point, but I decided to go in a new direction with a relatively from-scratch design.
Worked on tweaking the design for my OC's lower legs, following the design tweaks to the gauntlets to have a slightly cleaner look with this kind of bone/scale reinforcement at the top. I had less of a design in mind here, so I just experimented a bit.

Spent the weekend working on what I plan to do moving forward regarding working on models for both being creative and studying technique. Think I've got some fun ideas lined up and some cool things to work on.
Doing some research today on what I want to change about my OC design, and I feel I need a prophetic vision from the helmet design gods at this point.
Did a bit of cleaning up my reference board for my OC and refocused on how I want to give the design more "Character". A bit concerned I might end up making far bigger changes to the design to try and fit more of the vibe I was going for.
In a bit of a crash-out mode at the moment, so I am probably going to spend a couple of days doing a bit of a reset and planning out what to do next, rather than trying to force projects I'm not 100% on.
Bit more research and design work for my #OC today. Still think the armour needs a bit more "personality", so I wanted to lean into some Dragoon-inspired details. I also designed a Lance to match, will probably tweak bits of it when modelling it, but think it's a good sketch.

Used my speed sculpting window of about an hour today to finish my Lancer Artoria Alter headsculpt. Definitely could be a bit cleaner, and I would change how I approached some parts, but overall happy with the result of one of my favourite designs.

Not a lot or artistic work today, but I did some minor blocking out of the finishing touches of my Lartoria Alter head sculpt. I also did some research into changing my OC's second weapon into a lance and figure out what kind of design to go for. Might focus on that more next.
Used my sculpting time today to try adding hair on my Lartoria Alter sculpture. Avoided using the curve method for most of it, so I could try sculpting it. Not quite as clean or controlled as a curve method, but definitely quicker for blocking out the shapes.

Today was the first part of a little palette cleanser project. Trying to get more practice on anime-style characters. So I wanted to do a sculpt of Artoria Lancer Alter based on the art from the character sheet. Think I've got a decent base, but still needs work.

Super busy today, so not a lot of sculpting time, but added some simple elbow padding just to keep a bit of armour there after the gauntlets move. Will do a little bit more refining down the line, but just wanted to get them roughly done.

Decided I wasn't happy with how my v2 gauntlets looked yesterday. The idea was on the right track, but I ended up redoing them a bit cleaner.

Worked today on implementing some of the tweaks I wanted to make to my #OC design. Focused on the new chest and went for a bit more solid and sharper-looking style. Like how it looks, and I plan to tweak some other parts to match this look a bit more.

Starting to try and work back into rhythm again with my 3d work. Kept it simple and planned out the first tweak I wanted to make to my #OC by sketching out a new Curiass design, will probably tweak the bulk when I sculpt it, but like the idea.
Still trying to recharge a bit, but have been thinking about what I can do to help me improve more. Along with deciding on tweaks I want to make to my main OC. I still intend to finish my other knight character, but I might mix some other things in whilst I work on it.
Work took me out a bit today, so I'm going to take the night off from sculpting to let my brain reset a bit. Also, so I can grumble about my Darkrai sculpt being buried a 2nd time.
Busy today, so I thought I'd stick to the #Pokemon theme and repost this Darkrai sculpt I did a while back with some extra images.

I'm still really happy with how this one came out, but I always feel it didn't get much reach.
