The amount of corruption in the Trump administration is so staggering that I don’t think our brains can properly process these kinds of actions.

This is like someone breaking into a bank vault, stealing $190m, having the whole thing live-streamed to the public, and the DOJ literally ignoring it.

Specifically peak #MedTwitter felt like 2017-2018, whereas IMHO peak optimism at the attending level in the US for using social media in med ed peaked earlier than this. Maybe ~2016.

Globally, there are countries where I don’t know if social media use in med ed has even peaked yet.

The primary argument I’ve heard for teaching the “responsible” use of AI is the fact that our students are using it whether or not we endorse it, and attempts to prevent its use in and out of the classroom are bound to fail.
