Hi! I’m Eria, a cosplayer from Mexico, and I've been cosplaying since 2005. I’m mostly into Fire Emblem and Persona, but I also cosplay and talk a lot about other fandoms as well. I don’t sleep much. Any pronouns are ok!

RIGHT? I HATE WHEN PEOPLE IS JUST SO MEAN FOR NO REASON LMAO bro was def veeeery rude
TYSM!!! We really had a lot of fun!!!
dude was suuuuper condescending and I really was annoyed lol but yeah
Thing is

If you wanna talk to new people and give them advice it's absolutely fine. We all love to learn and discuss techniques!!! Just don't treat them like idiots
Then he was like "Oh so you have been cosplaying for a few years! I've never heard about you, you shouldn't be really popular" and I was like "no honey, I'm not, because I don't cosplay because I wanna be popular"
I went to a con a few weeks ago and some dude, acting very condescending, tried to give me tips and tricks "for novices". While I deeply like learning new stuff, I don't really like being treated like a baby, so I told the dude I have been cosplaying for 20 years already. He didn't like that

I seriously think that if we, as cosplayers, stopped thinking much about which cosplays would give us more engagement/social media attention we would be WAY happier

Stan Lee creó a 300 personajes a lo largo de su carrera, incluyendo 60 héroes, 179 villanos, 30 razas extraterrestres y 15 monstruos.
See Tanjiro Kamado, for example. He's starts being good, ends up being good. He gets stronger, but doesn't get development as a character. He's the same nice guy. Same with Deku
My problem with main characters in shonen anime is that they always have to be morally "good". That stops them from having more development. And no, physicall strenght is not "growing".
That being said, Denji's growing as a character, but for the worse. He's trying and failing, coping with his trauma the best he can, yet it's never enough nor the best option. He's progressively getting bad, tired and exhausted, and it's honestly relatable
Denji, for example. He wasn't supposed to be loved as a character, but to represent damage, sadness, loneliness and all those emotiosn people tend to hide. He's not moved by the need of being "a good person". He is just another person with traumas and problems and needs
