Finally watched Halloween (2018) and really enjoyed it, but not sure if I should watch the two sequels as I heard they weren't as good.

The urge to make every post sound philosophically meaningful so everyone thinks highly of me versus the urge to just shout meaningless nonsense into the void.
The final end state of my new party game, Subject Matters.

This game continues to be a rip-roaring good time!
How many copies printed in total would that be now?
Creating a list of randomized words for a word guessing game feels like one of the most tricky things I have ever done.

Is this a good word?
Would it be fun or interesting to guess?
Do most people even know what it means?

I’m running off the weirdest designers high right now.

I had a dream about a party game last night. I pitched the idea to some designer friends who specialize in party games and now I basically have a complete fun party game.

This is the weirdest feeling ever.
Bunch of photos from my trip to New York. Thanks to my brother, we crammed a LOT of stuff into just a couple days.
Going through photos from my trip to New York last week and reminded how my fiancé wasn’t surprised I was able to find dice and a board game in The Met.
Friends and I really enjoyed the demo, looking forward to getting back into it!

One of the best game design tools I have. This light device, typically used for tracing stuff, allows me to make double sided game components using cardstock and sticker paper.
Fate of the Fellowship comes with a pretty cool dice tower.
Size of the meeples in The Lord of the Rings: Fate of the Fellowship. A normal sized die for comparison.

I might need to see about upgrading the game with some normal sized ones for ease of play.
Treated myself to a new game and some manga while in Asheville today .

There's a fun easter egg in the card art for Beasts. Each set of number cards can be laid out to form views of the same nature scene at different times. Each suit represents a different season. And whole/broken variants represent day vs night scenes. So, there's 8 card panoramas in all!

Finally got my designer copies of Beasts today, so it became the 8th unique game on my Self Shelf! 😍🎲✂️
They had to clarify why for me, but I'm 99% sure 😂
