Autistic kids don't do well with strangers and unfamiliar settings. They can easily be traumatized. That ICE will nab an autistic kid without bothering to look for the parents is pretty bad.

A 15 year old boy with autism went missing earlier this week

He was selling fruit with his family in Springbranch when he disappeared

They filed a missing person’s report & begged the public to help find him

Turns out he was in a Houston ICE detention facility

They kidnapped a disabled child!

There should be some criteria to ensure our representatives have the wherewithal to advocate for their constituents' needs--whether that's a cognitive acuity test, age limits, or term limits.

There is a connection between Putin, Orban, the GOP, and the far right in Britain and Europe. They all lean toward autocracy. Some autocrats are politically leftist, some are on the right, but all enrich themselves off their nation's wealth.

Beautiful shot! A few years ago, Science Friday interviewed a researched of bird's color vision--and wow. They see color not as a flat surface as we do, but in 3D complexity and with a fourth color cone (we have 3). What would it be like to see a blue jay with a blue jay's eyes?
