Did an Icelandic bind off for the neck. Ignore the fact that I still didn't close the underarm.

The body is a little long... Even with a tighter gauge. Idk if I should attempt surgery given it seems that's how the style is supposed to sit.

but i've been confidently assured that yimby policies can't make a difference on any electorally significant timescale!
A relatively large amount of production of housing sunk initial rents from an average of $2800 to $2000 in just 6 years
Related rent trend updated with Q1 2025 data.
Lmao. That user is monitoring this post and blocking people. Just got blocked by the scramble of letters for liking this post.
To clarify, it was someone giving public comment against updating our zoning map. Saying well, "so much" housing was built since the last decade and it didn't bring prices down. It was befuddling that they don't see the ginormous hole in that argument.
This drives me nuts! The other bit to add is that they'll bring up stats from a restricted time period as if the housing shortage just showed up and wasn't an accumulative effect. (Saw this at City Hall recently talking about housing + jobs of the last decade as if the shortage started 10 years ago)
I hate how weak willed I am. I went to this weaving shop to pick up my goodie bag for this workshop I had to miss because I was sick. Why did I leave with a skein because it caught my eye 🙈

“In Finland, the number of homeless people has fallen sharply. Those affected receive a small apartment & counselling with no preconditions. 4 out of 5 people affected make their way back into a stable life. And all this is CHEAPER than accepting homelessness.”

It costs less to house people.
Finland ends homelessness and provides shelter for all in need - scoop.me
In Finland, the number of homeless people has fallen sharply. Why? The country applies the "Housing First" concept agains homelessness.

Back from my trip that I did not want to leave. But means I can order yarn for my next project!

Thank you. I'm over the hump. Now just dealing with the after effects.
Flu derailed all my plans of the last week 🙂. -15/10, do not recommend to anyone.
Those socks look fun!

And I've also thought of doing a T-shirt or a tank top on top of the "sweater".
I'm a monogamous knitter until I have idle hands haha.
It's either gonna be a hat or a pair of socks but which ones and in what yarn/colors, I don't know... 🤔
I love that horse motif!!
I have a few days to pick yarn for an airport project. Ooof the pressure is on. And I'm already shopping around for my next sweater. Thinking of doing a sequined lace sweater by James N Watts for pride.

I have a similar thing with knitting and spinning.
I put on one of my favorite hoodies and realized it hits me exactly where the sweater hits me... Ignore my uncertainty haha
Finished blocking! It's now lying to dry. - Observations: holy hell, this yarn can hold so much water. And the grey yarn shed so bad 😬. I hope it doesn't weaken the fabric. And the towel burrito makes the fabric feel dry already!
I'll bind off the armpit stitches and block. Wear it out and see how I feel about it. - I'm a very lazy knitter. I just wet/wash and lay flat. I never use pins.
Thank you. I'm actually a little surprised it does. I went to a slightly larger size than I go for. It might be my new normal. (Went a couple of inches up)

Did you separate the bags so they were coming from different directions?
Also #2, the colors look a lot like Crayola crayons or paint. It looks like grass, water and sunflowers. - I picked the colors because it reminded me of spring like the designer and I thought of children's depictions of spring.
