Just beat @kingdomsofthedump.bsky.social and wow, what a game. If you're into retro RPGs, absolutely give it a try, the music is fantastic, the story is so well put together, and the battle system is a neat riff on SMRPG's. A solid 9/10 for me.

Got this PB last night, I'm pretty happy with it, but there's still room for improvement, so I'll put a little bit more time into it. If I don't PB again I'll be fine leaving it here so I can move on to other runs, but I have improved pretty well in the past week or 2, so I expect more to come.

8 string playthrough complete! So for the synth I thought the amount of certain riffs it gives you is too little so it was a bit more reliant on me getting lucky to have a good round. For 8 string, all the fun riffs are late, so when first getting the instrument its not as fun.

Finished the synth playthrough of Fretless: The Wrath of Riffson, its a very different playstyle than I'm used to, but it was fun to figure out. My next play of the game will be with the 8 string, from what I can tell it's basically a blood mage, which is a class I've always had fun with.

I was in a waiting room for a long time yesterday, and I had the thought that more waiting rooms should have treadmills (do any?). I get why they don't like maintenance and such, but it would be cool. At least have some good standing room though for people who don't like to sit for long.

Just realized I once again forgot Epic was doing daily free games instead of weekly like halfway through, and missed 2 games I wanted to grab. I would have even played one of them! Guess I'll just have to pay for what I want to play, sigh.

I've barely even started Fretless, and it's already a 10/10 game for me, go play it!
Nine Sols: I highly recommend this game. I give it a 7/10 but only because it heavily relies on parry mechanics, without it'd be an 8. Art is great, story is great, movement is great, controls are good, music is alright, and difficulty is high. There's a bit of gore, so avoid if that's an issue.
