Yesterday, my boyfriend's parents were impressed that I now am able to speak a bit and understand some Spanish yesterday, even though it's still in beginner level. I'm proud of myself for some of that language-learning process 😄

In the past, I used to be confused on why people say "America is a continent, not a country." Now that I'm learning Spanish, I understand that America/América refers to both North and South American continents and not the U.S. To Spanish speakers, America is 1 continent, not 2.

We got a Round1 here in the Jersey Gardens Mall in Elizabeth, NJ! ✨
Was surprised to learn it replaced the old Bed Bath & Beyond store. I've been to Round1 in Ikebukuro, but this one has a bowling alley, a bar, and food! It seems Dave & Busters has more competition now 👀

Recently started rewatching The White Queen after like, maybe 8 years. I was so hyperfixated with this show and England's Wars of the Roses in early high school that I even recorded the episodes on my old cable TV's DVR

For like the past year or so, more American malls have been banning unchaperoned teens or kids under 16-18 without an adult, and this is crazy to me because I've been to the mall by myself or with friends unchaperoned in high school at ages 15-17. And this was the mid-2010s
