My journey to work each morning (usually on my bike) involves crossing the River Wharfe in Otley. Thought it might be vaguely interesting to share an ongoing series of pictures taken from the same place each morning.

No pic yesterday as had a checkup at the hospital. Eye healing well and second lens replacement in the next 4 to 6 weeks.
A busy day of catchup so only getting the chance to post now while tea cooks

I do not understand why the media is playing along with the idea that the big orange baby could somehow have won the Nobel Peace Prize this year when nominations closed 31st January this year.

Actually with this, one either I took it or it was taken at the same time as I took a bunch of summer photos outside Taylor’s. Summer 88 and 90 I was in America and by summer 90 I’d lost my camera somewhere so it has to be summer of 89 👍

I used to run (a bit and slowly) but had to give it up after a sporting injury.
I call it a sporting injury.
I fell off a Space Hopper (image attached for reference) and banged my knee.
It was during the form tutor race at my school and sports day so it counts as sporting 🤪
