I added letter-boxing to my game!

Not really sure when I'd use this, but I think this would be a fun effect for cutscenes or tense moments.

Just tried that, and the duplicate room works, so it's not like there's something tied to that room's ID or something.

So far my theory is that something breaks regarding children objects of the parent semi-solid, though setting it up the same as the working room still won't work.

I'm at a loss.

I've had a bug with the semi-solid platforms in my game for the past few days that just baffles me to no end.

They work as expected in a single room, but are treated as totally solid objects in every other room. How does make any sense??

It's been a while since I did it, but I remember it was a bit of a hassle. Are you logged into your dev account on Steam? I remember that being an issue I ran into. I think I also needed to do something specific in Steamworks to save the achievements properly.

I've added a UI element to show how much energy you have left in your jetpack. I made each jetpack mode have a unique color and shape that represents it.

So true, really anything spinning is so annoying to make. This looks pretty good though!

I saw a really interesting technique in a video where you model the spinning object in 3D and convert it into 2D. Something to look into for things like this...

It's odd how much I enjoy making games as someone who really dislikes coding.

I think game dev is a totally different beast to computer science, and so I hope others don't fall into the same trap as me thinking CS will help them with game dev.

Sort of, it is developed by a different team with the blessing of the original developer, Runouw.

Right now it is just a level editor, with a campaign coming soon. It is pretty awesome so far!
