States need to decide in advance, how they're going to react when federal forces try stuff like blocking the roads around a polling place with "immigration checkpoints".

These people *don't care* that they'll lose a lawsuit (paid for by the taxpayer) if they can irreversibly taint the election.

Also weaponized by the most rich/corrupt ones against honest new reformers.

Also, the entire state of Washington is tired of getting confused with the District of Columbia.

We need a better word for "US federal government locus."

For a while it seemed other things like OANN were going to out-fox FOX, by being even more extremely biased to siphon away viewers.

"We had a credible report that the driver is an illegal alien."

Honestly, I think Republicans would sabotage USPS with "losing" mail that day from certain areas first, as opposed to snatching dropboxes.

They still want a certain level of deniability.

The problem is all the worst ones are already multi-millionaires and/or making money on insider trading.

So "no pay" just gives those people a weapon to use to extort less-wealthy representatives.

And contrast it to all the plans The Heritage Foundation and Project 2025 had to create a quasi dictatorship.

If they don't have a plan, it's because they didn't want to make a plan.

In particular, you need to rehearse exactly how to arrest anyone ruining the election.

They will set up "federally authorized immigration checkpoints" around polling places, and count on the state government to dither with conference calls to lawyers until it's too late.

I can imagine it might be handy if I'm replying mainly for other people to see, such as to some random commenter of the "post misinformation and block anything except enthusiastic agreement" type. 🤔

Then there's a chance corrections might be visible to others for a while.

Davis: In [Mike Johnson’s] mind, how can one be a good Christian while at the same time want to take away health care?

Former fundamentalist Levins: Mike Johnson is a beta male in a patriarchal structure. He knows that he’s got to be obedient to his authority, who is Donald Trump—who to him is God.

If you rely on ChatGPT for legal analysis, you're going to have a bad time.

That is absolutely nothing compared to the lopsided Senate though.

Plus, they were already "shutting down" pieces this way:

1. "Compromise: We'll feed orphans AND tax cuts for the rich. Law passed."

2. "Trump refuses to obey the orphan law, but we don't care, so no impeachment."

3. "Time for another law! How about orphans and oil subsidies?"

No, the vaccine is merely a trigger for the superpowers that were 🌈inside you all along!🌈

The same applies to Presidential Executive Orders... Legally speaking, they're just memos from some guy who sits at the big desk that happen to be stamped Very Important.

Not following them isn't even a crime, although it might get you fired depending on what laws exist about your job.

The thymus, where the cellular civilization generates warped and twisted child-soldiers, putting them through a gauntlet of harsh discipline and executing any that show signs of disobedience, before releasing them onto the streets...

They compartmentalize heavily, so that they switch between completely incompatible "beliefs" without even noticing.

When they tell you they plan on throwing out the constitution, believe them.

I like to refer to them as ICE internal memos with a silly name.

Also, your yard is part of your private property ("curtilage") and they still require a *real* warrant to come in and grab somebody sitting in your porch or garden.

That said, there's an exception for if they were already arresting someone from public land and a chase happened.

In other words, Republicans were already doing illegal shutdowns of pieces they didn't like.

For several months now:

1. "Compromise: We'll feed orphans and buy tanks. That's the law now."

2. "Trump says he won't do the orphan thing, but that's fine with me, and it's not worth impeaching him over."

3. "Hey, it's time for us to all pass another compromise law. How about orphans and jets?"

Mark your calendar for exactly halfway through Trump's term, because I'm sure it's marked on Vance's calendar.

If a VP serves more than half a term as stand-in President, it counts against their two-term lifetime limit.
