Probably, but it is a critical higher ed nutrient. Like your body chemistry realigns in grad school to have an enhanced tolerance (and thus greater need) for caffeine.

As long as he's not also taking it in pill form and crying to The Pointer Sisters, we are still within normal limits for age.
