I guess it is possible to go mad from it, but you would most likely have to experiment with some psychedelic drugs a little too much or want it for egotistic, selfish reasons. The spiritual plane has a way of burning those who are not worthy in their innermost.

Usually it marks a new stage of learning, a new way of seeing reality that flips over so fundamentally that you don’t necessarily remember what you were doing before then or why you ever saw things differently. It is in a way a ”waking up to your new self”.
