Woke up at 3 to find the black cat once again wandering around my flat. (This is not a metaphor). Obviously it’s decided my flat (I keep my window open) is a part of its nightly rounds and who am I to disagree. Makes me feel rather protected

Today, I am going to settle down, lock in, and read Murderbot books properly, instead of in little gaps in between other things. Whilst having to snatch a moment to appreciate a story in beetween being asked to work is very Murderbot, i feel they'd appreciate my full attention for hours and hours

There’s always someone in the office who’s voice, while not necessarily loud, is some how penetrating enough to pierce even noise-cancelling headphones.

Those people should be put into a sound proofed room in an empty building to work by themselves.
