A man has died while in U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement custody after being transferred to the Ste. Genevieve Detention Center.

This is the second death of an ICE detainee Missouri this year.

The Tap In Center was launched in 2020 as a pilot program during the pandemic.

Today, it helps people resolve warrants and access legal help in six municipalities across the St. Louis region.
