I've done a poor job of remembering to let folks know about this, but I'll be at GameSoundCon this year! I haven't hung out with non-local game audio folks since pre-pandemic, so I'm excited to get back out there.

friends, unfortunately I am in need of some help again to keep a roof over my head

we are moving out of this flat on the 17th (in 10 days) we got for the month, and nowhere to go with very little funds so far

so that's one week of Daily Recording done. i'm still getting my groove back little by little. the recording, editing, naming, and rendering is quick and easy, but it takes me longer to decide what to record, and i'm more discerning about what i record than i was before.

metal gear solid is a good game, but it could be improved by some variation in its boss and combat music. fighting metal gear feels the same as fighting the tank which feels the same as fighting the cyborg ninja, etc

i bought a macbook last year with the intention of turning it into a portable music machine, but i kept putting off installing all my plugins and software for months... but i've discovered the ultimate secret to solving this problem! that's right: it's being stuck at the car dealership for hours 😎😎😎

Japanese curry is extra fun because it's so customizable! I like to follow the box instructions, add extra veggies, and replace as much of the water as possible with any broth or coconut milk I have lying around.
