Construction Advisory: Traffic Signal at Powell and Hollis

**UPDATED INFORMATION FOR WORK ON TUESDAY, OCTOBER 7**
City Hall will be closed Monday, October 13 in observance of Indigenous Peoples' Day.

Please note that Public Works Maintenance Services will remain on-call, and the Emeryville Police Department, Alameda County Fire Department, and emergency services will continue to be available.
Starting January 1, 2025, California law (AB 413) bans parking within 20 feet of crosswalks—or 15 feet where there are curb extensions—to improve visibility and keep pedestrians safe.
Emeryville will mark over 100 of these daylighting zones with red curb paint.
Get ready for a day packed with fall fun for all ages! Bring your family, friends, and festive spirit to the Emeryville Harvest Festival – a community celebration full of seasonal activities, entertainment, and local flavor.
As part of the Sustainable Streetscapes project, the traffic signal at Powell and Hollis Streets will be modified and signal poles relocated to their permanent locations.
