Fun fact: In Skyrim, when you challenge Alduin for the first time, you can actually pin him under your gut if its' huge enough, forcing him to surrender and allowing you to skip the fight entirely!

His name is Ashton, and he's an ancient forest guardian resembling an Ash tree. He's a big grump most of the time, though on occasion will help hikers find their trail if lost.
He is not so kind towards those who harm his forest, however.
