If you're deemed 'wrong', society will not only abuse and murder you, it will then write a history where those who abused and murdered you 'loved' you and tried to 'save' you, and where those that actually loved you and tried to protect you (and who likely suffered for that too) 'corrupted' you.

You cannot passively "have faith" in the liberal democratic order that's like.... like... like just NOT GOING to the negotiations because you "have faith" the negotiations will work out!
