I'm craving good, crispy fries and @matt.alexander.social offers tater tots!! Okay, fancy, house made tater tots from our local spot, but tater tots ARE NOT the same as fries!!
Then!! He says that tater tots and hashbrowns are the same too, double blasphemy!

That was a shitty experience :(
First PT appt, totally dismissed me when I explained I don’t show pain typically (CPTSD plus ND is fun!)
Finished by telling me my diagnosis from ortho surgeon and DO, with so much imaging to confirm, was wrong. Ignore that big ‘ol calcium shard, it’s totally fine!

99 tunnel shutdown both ways the other week. I, like a chump, was stuck in the WS bridge 99n exit when it happened
Only way from the closed exit back to the main bridge route? Cross a bus only lane
Guess who just got a camera ticket for having to do it? Insult to injury after 2 hours in traffic :(

Leftover turkey experiment: turkey stock, ginger, garlic, miso broth with bok choy, mushrooms, udon noodles and turkey
And a dipping sauce made from leftover cranberry sauce, gochujang paste, and soy sauce

Had eye surgery and it looks so bad post-op I had to wear big sunglasses to dinner so youngest wouldn’t cry :(
All I know is folks who have plastic surgery for funsies have amazing pain tolerance, cause ouch… so much ouch. Would not choose to experience this if I didn’t have to :(

Turkey experiment!
Tried a turkey-cetta recipe and some turkey leg confit. Both were a big hit!
The turkey roll was so herby and juicy! Plus the flavor on the turkey legs was so concentrated and the bones just fell out while crisping. Think these are both winners for Thanksgiving

Turkey experiment!

It was such a rainy Halloween here in Seattle, low kid turn out :(
But we threw a few pots of soup on the stove and invited the neighbors to join, eat, hangout and hand out candy as a group to the few soggy kids who braved the rain. It was great night!
Plus grownups like full sized candy bars too!
