A small story for this: I mentioned before, Vince is not a fighter, but he underwent combat training at Arasaka. His gun of choice even throughout his merc career is therefore the Arasaka JKE-X2 Kenshin tech pistol.

This is how Vince eventually ended up in data analysis and an agent in the CI department under Jenkins. He still gets to do some netrunning now and then, but mostly in secured environments, running simulations with other agents in preparation for bigger operations. (3/3)

Vince once had an opportunity to become a full-time netrunner for Arasaka - but it would have meant massively upgrading and expanding his cyberware to a degree he was not comfortable with. Jenkins had originally recruited him because of his hacking skills, so he wanted to keep him as an asset. (2/3)

A hacker you always have to be quick on your feet and with your thinking, especially in combat. I love how intense it must feel being able to think so fast, but at the same time it's got to be extremely overwhelming.

Engaging with BDs is one of the few pasttimes Vince allows himself. Also, it's prime time for cuddles with Nibbles! But also a way to just escape the reality of the Relic and Johnny, even if only for a few hours.

Going Cyberspycho is in the top 3 of Vince's biggest fears. He is very mindful about his cyberware and overall keeps it low. The Relic makes this fear of slowly losing his mind way too tangible and real.

After Arasaka fired him, in search for time alone and turning his brain off, Vince was regularly drawn to Totentanz. No risk of running into old coworkers, and he actually enjoys the music there. One night he met a Maelstromer called Molotov, and what happened between them was just as explosive.

At some point in 2067 Vince and Viktor meet for the first time (thanks to Jackie!). In many ways, Viktor was more a dad to Vince than his own father ever was (or at least a cool uncle with good intentions).

While I still prefer the Sun ending for my V, I also just love the Tower ending. At one point V is even like "I could be a fixer" and YEAH YOU COULD!! Live your dreams!! The Tower ending basically just gave me all my headcanons I had before anyway. Vince's future is if you mix Sun and Tower, really.

In my hc, after the Sun ending, V survives the Crystal Palace heist and can live on. Though, when all is said and done, he can no longer work as a merc. But: he would thrive as a fixer.

This is a redraw of a doodle from last year of the same moment (a few seconds earlier). V was facing his then longterm boyfriend Shou, and the overall situation was complex and fucked up. It was definitely his darkest moment that he hasn't fully recovered from in 2077 - and likely never will.

#Cybtoberpunk2025 - Overheat: During his last year at Arasaka Vince was faced with an impossible decision: betray someone he loved or leave everyone else behind. In the end the decision was made for him when being quickhacked made him accidentally pull the trigger.
