Opt-out testing flips the script. Our pilot in South London demonstrated just how powerful this approach could be. As part of the UK Government’s commitment to ending new cases of HIV, opt-out testing is being rolled out to 89 emergency departments in England, backed by a £150 million investment.

Since 2020, we have helped connect more than 78,000 people to ART.

ART stands for antiretroviral therapy. It is the lifesaving treatment for HIV. Yet right now, 9.2 million people living with HIV are not on treatment.

When decades of progress were threatened, we didn’t step back. We pushed forward. From breakthroughs in HIV prevention to expanding access to lifesaving care, 2025 showed us why our work matters and why standing together is more important than ever.

5.3 million people didn’t know they were living with HIV in 2024.

We’re working to change this. From Ukraine to Mozambique, we’re closing the access gaps in testing, prevention and treatment services.

Since 2020, through The Rocket Fund, we have tested over 834,000 people for HIV worldwide.

The new UK HIV Action Plan aims to make PrEP easier to access online and that’s essential if we’re going to reach zero new cases by 2030. Our digital PrEP pilot in London is already paving the way, with the potential to increase PrEP coverage by 60% across all seven local authorities.
