BG illustrator who loves to draw ancient civs and ruins.Timbs collector.YouTube poop enjoyer. I love games like For Honor and Soulcalibur 6 way too much. My disdain for Dad of Boi is well documented.

I’ve fumbled on the perspective, I wanted it to look like a crowded metropolis. Actually, it’s meant to be a reconstruction of Xunantunich (in what is now Belize). But there wasn’t much to work with, since it’s not as neatly preserved as Palenque and the likes.

A Little Fall Painting with 💛 Bismuth Yellow 💛

Oil paint on a 6x6" Pro-Tones canvas. You can buy this canvas from Jerry's Artarama. It comes pre-toned in a neutral gray.

Omg! I haven't posted anything here in 2 months!

6x6" oil painting on canvas, fall scene with mountains in the background.
Perfect collab and cross promotion campaign. But nooo, Nintendo (and by that extension, Bamco) is allergic to nice things.
A study of The Mayan fortress of Tulum. In what is now Cancun, Mexico. As always, I like illustrating what these places may have looked like before they were abandoned.

How it feels to show my art to oomfs
Congolese Moambe Chicken 🇨🇩🇨🇫. Cooking this wasn’t as difficult as I thought it would be. (Would you believe it’s also made out of peanut butter?)
I don’t fw fandoms and never will. Im much better off comfortably staying in my lane and enjoying something without the baggage of interacting with people who take their pop culture too seriously.
2/2 make fun of Deviantart all you want, but uploading artwork and displaying a gallery was infinitely better. It was much more organized, and with enough tags, you could always easily find what you were looking for the search bar of each artist’s page.
1/2: I do not get the appeal of moving to a site like Tumblr or Twitter for artists when they want to relocate their portfolio. Scrolling near endlessly to find one particular artwork of theirs sucks, scrolling’s the LAST thing I want to do.
By that extension, despite popular belief, “All Star” wasn’t first used to promote Shrek. It was actually first used in a movie called “Mystery Men” which predates Shrek by 3 years.
My favorite funfact from the first Shrek movie is that Smash mouth’s “All Star” wasn’t actually meant to be used in the movie’s intro (but a placeholder until they composed an original song). But, the test audiences loved the All Star version so much, they took it as a good sign to just keep it
And by that extension, despite what most people may think, “All Star” wasn’t created to promote Shrek. It was actually first used in a movie called “Mystery Men” which predates Shrek.

Check this amazing zine with so many awesome artists!

Glad to be part of this, here's mine contribution!
Nezahualcóyotl, the Poet King. Two men admire the statue of the philosopher ruler. I’m convinced that most of my camera shots do not do justice to colors I’ve used in my paintings. It drives me insane and feel the need to amplify the brightness.

Huah! Dale Gribble from King of the Hill as a Final Fantasy Tactics character. Watch out for Tonbobby! #KingOfTheHill #FinalFantasy #gameart #gaming
To this day, I’ve never met anyone that can tell the difference between parody and satire. I think the best and most reliable way to explain is; “A parody is fueled by brotherly love for a media, a satire is fueled by contempt for someone or something using critique.”
Neglecting uploads I have, a wip you’ll receive.
The “worst” Jurassic park movie (that being 3) is still infinitely better than the “best” Jurassic World movie.
Which is weird, because you would think with gaming being popular now more than ever that there would still be some resemblance of a market for these.
Obligatory licensed video games made to promote popular media. Now that I think about it, I noticed that these type of games don’t really exist all that much anymore.
I still have most of my ps2 games, it’s the console that’s still missing lol
I recognize the chains…
