For every complex issue that'd required hours of research to understand, there's a piece of disinformation that can make somebody think they already understand it. The conclusion can always be whatever fits their worldview. You can't fight that at an informational level, only through education. 2/2

But this projection comes with significant distortions, especially near the poles. For instance, Greenland appears comparable in size to Africa, when in reality, Africa's area is about 14 times larger. Alaska seems similar in size to Australia, though Australia is actually 4.5 times as large. (2/3)
