Omg every room in my house is just slightly too small to do what i want x.x that's just how modern houses are built now. It's frustrating. If all my rooms were just 2ft wider in all directions, it would dramatically solve design & furniture placement challenges.

oh absolutely! i *almost* posted the initial renders, but i want to wait until i've settled on the final design. i'm redlining his first concept this weekend :D tbf, it's very close.. i just want a bigger, smoother beach entry because i'm spoiled rotten D:

it's all about having enough slope to get the water to the drain. typically, these rooms have "zero entry" floors that are framed to be flush with the joists; that allows the tile floor to be level with the entry of the bathroom but still slope enough to drain at the low point.

it mostly bothers me that they're redoing old stuff - like the song in this video is the "easy dance", which is awesome, but why redo it? i'd rather them make new content for updated characters instead of recycling.

so far all i've really done today is put my shoes on, eat a delicious cauliflower-spinach-broccoli power bowl, and clean my toilets :D i clean my toilets a lot. yeah. i can't stand gross toilets. nope. when i reno my bathrooms, i'm installing floor drains so i can hose them down rest area style.

GOODNESS so the pool designer sent over his first designs and they're pretty amazing so far! :D I've got to take down part of my fence so they can get their heavy equipment inside PLUS I need to hire a tree company to remove one small tree and just general trimming before construction starts :D :D

That was the worst nights sleep ever! I ended up getting out of bed and taking a shower around 230am and watching videos until the sun came up. My brain is too active. Hopefully I'm not getting sick from traveling. I almost always get sick when I travel D:
