I want to take a sec today to talk about how awesome @apexmag.bsky.social is. They've published me twice & both have been stories that are super weird and queer and violent and tender all at once. There are other excellent mags out there, but I would argue that *nobody* does it quite like Apex.

Just got done listening to the Phillies game, delayed by having a performance & talk back tonight.

I had a kind of sense that they lost, but I kept listening anyway. I felt like listening was keeping this beautiful season alive, somewhere.

Even this did not prepare me for the brutal way it ended.
