Everton. Gwladys Street.
Newcastle drawing 2-2 at home after conceding a brace to a centre-back who scores an acrobatic equaliser in the 94th minute...

Fair play to Jake O'Brien getting Man of the Match. Centre-back is his natural position but it's still a big shift having filled in at right-back all season, especially contributing to a clean sheet after the last result. He's a really dependable player which you need during a long season.

Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall's left peg is like a full set of golf clubs. Woods, irons, wedges, putters, he's got the lot to choose from for each situation. He can drive it, hook it, lay it up, punch it. He's a lovely footballer to watch.

The date Everton have reached 21 points over the last four seasons 🔵⚽️

2025 - December 2nd
2024 - February 24th
2023 - February 18th
2022 - February 12th

One of Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall's best attributes is his fearlessness.

In a similar way to having Tim Cahill or Marouane Fellaini in the team, it feels like he's capable of pulling something out the bag when you need it away from home.

'Not many people fancied Everton tonight, Roberto, but you believed.'

'I did, I did.'

That man turned hope into belief in 2013. Will always love him for that.

Everton are now back to seven wins behind Manchester United in the all-time First Division table dating back to 1888.

The Red Devils overtook the Toffees for the first time ever during Sir Alex Ferguson's reign at Old Trafford.

Everton are on 1915 top-flight wins.

If you'd said a year ago some Everton bookings and reds would stem from a player impersonating a seagull, taking a quick free-kick and an altercation between team-mates, I wouldn't have beli... I would have absolutely believed you and thought that sounds spot on.

Would be interesting if Everton did make a move for Troy Parrott. I've heard he likes to sit on the shoulder of the defender. Feels sick if he loses.

'Singing the Blues' was released by Guy Mitchell in October 1956 🔵⚽️

The first opportunity Evertonians would get to sing it was October 27 after a 4-0 home win over Arsenal in front of 52,478. That day Liverpool lost 4-1 at Barnsley in Division Two.

Jordan Pickford pulled off two sumptuous passes today to play in Iliman Ndiaye and later Jack Grealish. Was really quick-thinking but so accurate too. Both arrowed in beautifully.

He couldn't hide how buzzing he was when they came off. Can tell he plays for the love of the game.

I interviewed former Beveren CEO Antoine Gobin about Thierno Barry when he signed and this quote rings true.

"He’s hardworking, dedicated and very generous with his efforts and emotions.

“He feeds off of being loved, and wants to give back that love.”

That was Michael Keane's 16th Premier League goal for Everton.

The defender is now level with Gary Speed and Nikica Jelavic in the Toffees scoring charts. One behind Andy Johnson and Victor Anichebe.

That was Idrissa Gana Gueye's ninth goal for Everton in the Premier League and sees the midfielder move ahead of Yobo, Bilyaletdinov, Niasse, Joe-Max Moore, Beckford and Michael Ball in the scoring charts 🔵⚽

Now level with Ebbrell, Tosun and Demarai Gray.

Crystal Palace’s unbeaten run came to an end on Sunday on the club’s first visit to Hill Dickinson Stadium as Everton won 2-1 🔵⚽️

Everton also ended Palace’s 18-game unbeaten run with a 2-1 home victory back in August 1969.

It was the Eagles’ first-ever league visit to Goodison Park too. Crazy.

With so much adrenaline and exhilaration coursing through each row, it created a blue tidal wave of euphoria.

As the noise crescendoed down and back up, it confirmed Everton had won before the full-time whistle had sounded.
