I told you I'm on a Hannah Whitten spree! Very satisfying conclusion to the series. Love this world and the tension between the lovers. Such a cool take on gods and godhood.

Going through my notebook from the past two years, and I found this chart I made when I first started planning the Syphon Bound series. I started with a list of masc-coded traits, and then I assigned them all to my femme protagonists for each book.

Bingo! I'm on a Hannah Whitten spree! I read this one while waiting for my hold on The Nightshade God to come up, and then it came up and I had to hurry---not a problem with this book, since I didn't want to put it down.

More maps! Always more maps!

Starting work on the #SyphonBound novella set between books 1 & 2. This is Lacune Fortress, where the tourney takes place. Much of Book 2 will take place here as well, so I wanted a detailed map right from the start. I based it on Dunnottar Castle in Scotland.

Ok, so I'll admit it. I read this book so fast that I didn't actually fill in the card while I was reading, I went back after and filled it in. Someone tell me what I missed!

Can you double check this one and make sure I didn't get a bingo? So many lovely tropes!!

The monthly bonus scene is here! And by here, I mean over on Patreon, accessible to all paid subscribers (for as little as a dollar or two)

To Break A Dragon Bond has no spicy scenes. Took me almost a year to crack this one, but it certainly worked out 🌶️ 🌶️ 🌶️

It's the perfect cat bed. I'd be shocked if I came up from work and there *wasn't* a cat here.

I didn't add a quote from the ending, because no spoilers...but do people want to see the last sentence!?

The first Syphon Bound book, A Bond of Storms and Stitches, is revised! Now, don't get too excited, my lovely editor Maggie will bring tons of wonderful suggestions to the table during edits. But the core story and ironed out!!

I love these characters so much! I'm sure by the time I'm done my final revisions at the end of the year, I'll be sick of them all...but for now I'm enjoying their company. I'm sure you will too, when the first Syphon Bound book comes out!

No bingo, but I don't even care. Such a great read. Sequel is immediately on my list.

Second verse, same as the first. There's something soothing about doing the second sock/second side these days.

It's a spicy one this month! You know it's delicious when I'm afraid Patreon's prudish bots will flag my post just for the content notes.

I post a scene on Patreon every month. This month, what I meant to be a scene turned into a full duel-POV story.

A Bond of Storms and Stitches in all its (partially hand-written) glory! Still tweaks to do during type-in, but this is pretty much the version that will go to my editor Maggie next month.

Printed out 348 pages, and now it's 438 pages---which includes all the pages with a giant slash through them.

Bingo! This isn't strictly romantasy, but it's science fantasy romance, I'd say. Shares a ton of vibes with Project Pardus!

It's finally here! (Except Amazon---it's coming!)

Snowed In! Fourteen wintery, second chance, romances, all by Canadian authors!

My story, Sparrow Song, is set in the Syphon Bound world, 200 years before A Bond of Storms and Stitches. Get a sneak peek into the politics and magic!

Last-minute decision to add a giant prehistoric bird fight to SB1. Best decision I ever made. How could it not be?!

I don't eat wheat, but if I did, I'd eat it with smut.

Great trip to the Watson's Mill museum in Manotick! I'm the weird history-obsessed socialist being like "we should have held out and maintained our free water power! We never should have let Big Steam take over our mechanical driving systems!"
