Here's some AMAZING news! Youth in Held v. Montana just won at the Montana Supreme Court! The court found that the state of Montana violated their right to a healthy environment by rubber stamping all oil and gas permitting. Kudos to the youth, Our Children's Trust and @elizabethpinsky.bsky.social!

THEY WON!!! WE WON!!! EVERYBODY WON!!! This morning the Montana Supreme Court ruled in favor of the 16 youth plaintiffs in Held v Montana, resoundingly affirming their right to a clean and healthy environment.

As with climate change I imagine the truth when it comes to our democracy lies somewhere between "all is lost" and "everything is fine", and it's good to ask who wants you to believe either of those de-activating extremes.
