It is BLOONKY GATOR DAY! @vickybunbun.bsky.social 's loveably deranged OC is an inspiration to us all. Hers are honestly the first political comics I've seen since 2016 that go hard enough to meet the moment.

It's that Bloonky Gator, and he's now Kaiju sized, firing his Atomic Breath through a particuliar building while flipping it the bird. The cowardly occupants flee and cringe in terror of the sublime. His eyes are doing that Shin Godzilla thing where they cover with a metallic blast shield set of eyelids. Behind him, fans watch from the rooftop of Da Club (the hottest joint in town) with a banner reading "we ❤️ bloonky." Lighting cracks the sky as it strikes the mountain in the distance.

People used to say the singer to the band I used to front was "a drag queen", and I always wonder how many people came to see us expecting a drag queen and then got disappointed when it was just me wearing like jeans or something.
