After 2 years of work, our flashMOOC about metal-based antibiotics is now out! The goal was to make an accessible video about the urgent problem that is antimicrobial resistance and how metal complexes could be part of the solution. Very happy with how it turned out!

I'll also miss the beauty of the desert in Tucson 🌵☀️, which has been my home for 15 years. A new chapter awaits in Vienna, but I hope to stay in touch with many friends in Arizona. Thank you for everything and arrivederci! 2/2
This month it was very tough to say goodbye to a wonderful community of students, colleagues and staff members at the University of Arizona and particularly in the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry 1/2

If your research involves inorganic chemistry of any flavor and I've missed you, please lmk.
👀 Nope! Have not heard about this from our university officials either. Probably new?
Looking back at the photos I took in the beautiful city of Mandalay years ago and thinking of the people of Myanmar tonight

Great piece by the legendary Francis Arnold @caltech.edu @nobelprize.bsky.social on the occasion of receiving the Priestley Medal this week at #ACSSpring2025
Not a fan of these bubbles in the big halls at #ACSSpring2025. The dystopian look would be acceptable only without the bad acoustics with loud background chatter from other bubbles 🤓

My favorite “content creator” on #ChemSky so far is Jeremy Berg @jeremymberg.bsky.social Thanks for these amazing bluetorials 🙏 Here is one about iron regulation 🤩
Not sure, but you did it so well! 😂
Happy holidays from our crew of chemists and biochemists in Tucson! ☀️🌵🎄

I did spot this paper earlier this week! Congrats Kevin - awesome work 👏👏👏
Another 5K Turkey Trot for this slow Arizona runner. After minor injuries and several distractions, this year I am bummed that my pace is still slow but also happy that I am still trying 🏃‍♀️ 😁 Happy Thanksgiving!
We use the Mettler Toledo V10S. Very reliable and easy to operate
