A crow sends out a party invite. Call that an attempted murder
“Sorry we have a full flight today we need someone to come check their bags, there haven’t been any volunteers!”

Sounds like a YOU problem airlines in keeping my stuff out of the nightmare box
@jayboller.bsky.social I love the tips scale, I thought the Denver omelette and cheeseburger one were good (for gas station food)
Read all about the rest of this menu, and my thoughts about the collaboration and gas station food in general this Friday on @heavytable.com ‘s Substack!
Meanwhile the Denver Omelette sandwich with the cheddar bun was surprisingly good, the egg flavor of an omelette coming through fantastic and the added attention to detail on the bread really made a nice, soft and cheesy backing that held up to the heft of the sandwich.
I think that one of the misses for me on the menu that I was excited about was the Mac n’ Cheese burger, which had bacon in addition to the Mac and a little spice in the sauce. I thought it came across bland and very plastic-y
Jalapeño potato nuggets had a good lil kick but didn’t impress me beyond the addition of the spice.
One of the most interesting things on the menu, the “candy chaos” cookie featuring potato chips, candy pieces and pretzel bites. Mostly tasted like a monster cookie, with some added texture.
The full flavortown menu at the circle k by terminal 2! Diving in on tasting notes
Diners, drive-ins and… gas stations? I get to try the new menu collaboration between Guy Fieri and Holiday/Circle K station stores. Come along for the ride with me and @heavytable.com

The story is up! Enjoy the story of me eating much too much hot dog
One of my favorite things about editing The Heavy Table is getting to send writers out to do the sort of insane and hilarious stuff that the 25-year-old version of me was always game for. This one looked like a damn doozy.
