After those services and jobs are provided, the market shifts back and people in the FJG sector are able to find better paying jobs in the private sector, so the need for FJG jobs and provision of UBS goes down. It's countercyclical.

The concept of a federal job guarantee (FJG) only makes sense to me if paired with universal basic services (UBS). When there is a downturn, unemployment goes up and, consequently, more people are in need of basic services. The FJG would then kick in and provide employment in the department of UBS.

There's a lot of exploitation and shady shit in the porn industry, especially when it comes to specific taboo fetishes. Allowing people to get off to something that bypasses the unethical parts of the porn underworld is probably a good thing.

Oh, stfu. As long as they aren't using the likenesses of real people and selling it, who cares if people watch AI porn? Why the hell is this a problem? Also, anybody can access the AI so there's nothing keeping scientists from harnessing the power of AI to try to cure cancer.

I'm working on a second edition of my book & adding an expanded section on democratic socialism. I'm doing preliminary research with AI and it's helping me narrow down the reading list I need to tackle in order to be able to make the case I want to make.
