I think it gave people time to absorb how utterly awful this policy is. I'm not a fan of kneejerk reactions.
White British woman here. I rarely see a burqa so am confused by this woman's POV. I gave no isuue wuth those who choose to wear them. If we start telling any woman what she can wear, where does it end?
