As difficult as the ACA is going to be with pricing on families and individuals the entire US has a failed healthcare system. The amount of misinformation for people to read is astounding. I want any politician to factually put a plan out there to address the difficulties in this repost.
1/ We might be nearing the end of the longest government shutdown in U.S. history. But even if Congress extends #ACAsubsidies, the debate in Washington is way too small. The real issue isn’t actually the subsidies, it’s how completely insane our health care system has become. 🧵

Healthcare is failing throughout the US not just those using the ACA. My employer is struggling to provide adequate coverage and using said coverage will put families at financial risk. Dems need to put a detailed comprehensive plan out to change everything with healthcare.
Here’s what’s at stake in the shutdown:
If Republicans get their way, 50,000 Americans will die unnecessarily every year.
15 million will lose their health care.
20 million will see their premiums double.
All so they can give a trillion dollar tax break to the 1%.

I wonder why Dems do not use this same philosophy of using actual Christian teachings, quoting scripture to counter the actions of the GOP? The last two Popes actually do this and the Dems should seize those opportunities.

Perhaps RFK Jr can launch a study on the potential contribution of false information and division created by the GOP that might be contributing to violence?

Each elected representative needs to look at yet another school shooting and ask themselves if this were my child what changes would I make to help prevent the next one? Simply doing nothing is unacceptable and part of the problem.

I do not want my children be in any public profession. I do not see this getting better any time soon.

This should be at the top of the campaign promises to gain control of all three branches of government. Elect our party and we will pass legislation to end gerrymandering for every state.

What would it take to get rid of Citizens United court ruling? In Wisconsin 100m spent on a Supreme Court election seems like our priorities are out of alignment. We need to get money out of politics period.

What are the Dems big bold plans? I understand Republicans want to bring factory jobs back to the US, even if it takes crashing the economy to do it. I want to see actual ideas and plans from Dems, not just how bad Republicans govern. Who knows maybe Republicans might like the idea and use it?
