After years of being held for ransom by izotope prices, using Acon’s Acoustica as a plugin for various needs has been VERY satisfying. Here I’m digitizing a tape in baaaad condition, and it’s sounding quite lovely as a result! The clients will be pleased, for sure!

Blue states should STOP paying ANY federal money/taxes/etc to support the red states. Citizens should ALL not pay a dime to the govt in taxes. This govt does NOT represent most of us.

That being said, I think the point to take away is NOT that the drum track makes the music better- just that a larger group of listeners may be able to appreciate it, and explore deeper THROUGH the added rails of a rhythmic "guide" as it were...

Adding a drum track to Schönberg works, makes the music more accessible. This is true, I did an experiment with a class where I played a track of rather avant-garde electronic sounds, they hated it. Few weeks later, same track with a drum track: they loved it. rcarl.substack.com/p/the-postmo...
